Home Last night was a night unlike any I’ve had before. I’m in New York City along with about 20 other bloggers for a couple of Fashion Week events surrounding Vivienne Tam - the designer of the Mobile PC World’s Editor’s Favorite Award winner - the HP Vivienne Tam Edition Mini Notebook. Fashion met technology in person!
First thing yesterday morning, we boarded a shuttle for a private tour of the City thanks to HP and Buzz Corps. I’ll have some photos of that up a bit later, but for now, tech and fashion meet and enjoy the companionship.
After the tour, we were invited to a presentation of Vivienne Tam’s line at her boutique on Mercer Street. Amid a crowd of other women and men attending, our sea of HP Vivienne Tam Edition Mini Notebooks really got attention. HP had blogging stations set up around the room with their great TouchSmart systems.
Suddenly, flashes starting flashing and the crowd centralized around Vivienne Tam. Then things went from great to exceptional. Vivienne Tam herself took time out from her own show to look at the Mini notebook, chat with us, pose for photos and make the evening even more memorable.
